New in 2010, the Looking Glass Mystery Adventure Weekends, a series of nonstop, think-on-your-feet investigations into some very unusual crimes.  Guests will actively seek clues and explanations as they thread their way through a maze of poisons and red herrings, but take care!  These events have been designed by Shadow Stalkers and may be hazardous to your health!  While you're hunting the clues, the killers may be hunting you. . . and in the past as many as 13 guests have been "murdered" in a single night. You'll want to sleep with one eye open!

October 29-30, 2010 
Cape May's War of the Worlds
Relive the most famous Halloween in Jersey history when the MAC and Shadow Stalkers turn back the clock to Oct. 30, 1938.  It's 29 minutes into the Orson Welles "War of the Worlds" broadcast and Martian fighting machines have cut all communications to South Jersey. That's the moment our mystery adventure begins. 
Our guests will be recruited into the ranks of Martian invaders and Earthlings defending the planet.  Alien codes, a missing scientist and an off-course Martian supply cylinder are just some of the problems they'll face as our teams explore, investigate and try to gain the crucial advantage that will decide the outcome of the invasion. Either side could win win in this very active, surprise-filled excursion into the possibilities posed by by the retelling of H. G. Wells' 1898 novel. Could there be better way to celebrate Halloween? Oh . . . and we'll be offering courses in Martian . . . just in case!

Looking Glass Mystery Adventure Weekend guests compete against each other and the clock to solve the mystery at hand. There are codes to crack, locations to discover and costumes are highly encouraged. Guests stay in participating inns. Overnight packages include two nights of accommodations with breakfast, Friday evening reception, Saturday evening dinner and all other event costs. Each guest receives a Looking Glass Mystery souvenir.
