Whether you rent your home in Cape May to others or enjoy it yourself with family and friends, this one-day workshop will give you information you need on local ordinances, maintenance services, marketing, year-round events and more to help you make the most of the Cape May Experience for yourself and your guests.

8:30 am-9:30 am: Registration: Enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee and browse our vendor displays.
9:30-10:30 am: Entice & Entertain: Learn about all the things that make Cape May special for homeowners and guests, from its rich cultural heritage to its wealth of activities, plus get an overview of the challenges facing property owners, whether a resident or renter.
10:30-11:30 am: Maintain & Manage: Listen to builders, property management professionals and home-
owners discuss the unique challenges of maintenance and upkeep for a seashore home. What’s best for you: Do-it-yourself? Property manager?
11:30 am - 12 Noon: Law & Order: Whether a renter or a resident, property occupupants have a responsibility to abide by local ordinances. A city official will explain things such as beach tags, noise, and other laws that help Cape May residents and visitors, alike, have a safe and enjoyable experience.
12 Noon-1 pm: Enjoy a complimentary buffet luncheon as you explore the table top displays and speak with local vendors offering goods and services of interest to you.
1-2:15 pm: Know Your Numbers: Listen as experts untangle some important financial, accounting, legal and insurance concerns.
2:15-3 pm: Marketing & More: A panel of experts will describe marketing and advertising options, ranging from traditional to cutting edge, to help property owners effectively reach and ‘seal the deal’ with potential rental clients.
3-4 pm: More than MAC: Cape May offers a wealth of cultural, educational and artistic experiences for residents and guests. Hear about the many groups, beyond MAC, that offer activities that contribute to a robust Cape May experience throughout the year.
4-5 pm: Meet and Mingle: Over complimentary wine and cheese, you can meet personally with the presenters and have additional time to review the tabletop displays of the many vendors who can help you make the most of the Cape May Experience for you and your guests.
