FRIENDS OF THE LIGHTHOUSE PIG ROAST
Saturday, April 20 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Join the Friends of the Cape May Lighthouse for a traditional pig roast to raise funds in support of educational interpretation of the lighthouse. Moose Lodge, 569 Seashore Road, Erma. Entertainment by Twelve Strings. Admission is $20.

 CAPE MAY LIGHTHOUSE 25/20 CELEBRATION
Saturday, May 11: 2 pm – 5 pm
On the grounds of the Lighthouse in Cape May Point State Park
 Help celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC) reopening the Cape May Lighthouse for climbs to the top, and the release after 20 years of the digitally re-mastered CD by Cape May guitarist Geno White, “Music From Inside the Lighthouse,” in which he recorded tracks from inside the 1859 Cape May Lighthouse. Hear the gentle sounds of White playing live on the grounds, enjoy lighthouse-themed entertainment and climb the 199 steps to the top. Events on the grounds are free; Adults $7 to climb; children (ages 3-12) $3

Board the Cape May Lewes-Ferry's M.V. Delaware and join the Friends in the Crow’s Nest Lounge. On the southbound crossing you will experience a beautiful sunset, a perfect backdrop for stories of “The Deadliest Cape.” On the northbound crossing, the beam of the Cape May Lighthouse will be clearly visible. Learn what the lighthouse means to mariners and hear some interesting facts, tales and lore when you “Meet the Keeper.” 

Advance registration is required and includes walk-on round-trip ferry passage and the Friends presentations.  Registration is $18 for members of the Friends of the Lighthouse and $28 for non-members.
