Emlen Physick Estate Tours

Visit the Cape May of more than 100 years ago on a guided tour of Cape May s Emlen Physick Estate, the magnificent Stick Style mansion attributed to renowned Victorian architect Frank Furness. A tour of the 15 beautifully restored rooms gives you a glimpse into the lifestyle of the Victorians. Physick Estate Tours take approximately 45 minutes and conclude with a visit to the Carriage House Gallery where you can see the current exhibit. The first floor of the museum is fully accessible. The museum is now comfortably air-conditioned!

New theme for 2010!  What did those Victorians do for fun and excitement? The new theme for Physick Estate tours in 2010, On the Town, explores socializing, dining and dancing in the Victorian era.

Tickets are available at the Carriage House Visitors Center at the Physick Estate, and are $10 for adults; $5 for children (ages 3-12).

Combination Tour Available...

Guided trolley tour of Cape May's Historic District, followed by a guided tour of Cape May's only Victorian house museum, the Emlen Physick Estate, 1048 Washington Street. Combination Trolley/Physick Estate Tours last about 2 hours. Admission includes the Carriage House Gallery at the Physick Estate. Begins at the Washington St. Mall Information Booth at Ocean Street.

Tickets are $18 for adults; $9 for children ages 3 to 12.
