Emlen Physick Estate Tours

New in 2009! Experience “HERstory,” the new Physick Estate tour that explores the changing roles of women in the Victorian era.  During this period, women became delicate flowers that had to be protected in their parlors. This revolution in roles provoked a reaction in the first Women’s Movement. Hear about the pure and gentle ladies and the tough and forceful women of the nineteenth century in this all-new themed tour of the  Physick Estate.

Tickets are available at the Carriage House Visitors Center, and are $10 for adults; $5 for children (ages 3-12).

Combination Tour Available...

Guided trolley tour of Cape May's Historic District, followed by a guided tour of Cape May's only Victorian house museum, the Emlen Physick Estate, 1048 Washington Street. Combination Trolley/Physick Estate Tours last about 2 hours. Admission includes the Carriage House Gallery at the Physick Estate. Begins at the Washington St. Mall Information Booth at Ocean Street.

Tickets are $18 for adults; $9 for children ages 3 to 12.
