Throughout the year, the Friends of the Physick Estate presents a variety of entertaining events that help raise funds for continued preservation of Cape May's only Victorian house museum, the 1879 Emlen Physick Estate.

This Friends of the Physick Estate meeting is highlighted by a Powerpoint presentation on patterned brick buildings in New Jersey. Beautiful brick patterned homes date back to colonial times. This program will highlight several 18th century New Jersey homes and the patterns that make them truly unique. Advance registration requested.$5 members / $10 non-members
HATS OFF TO THE LADIES! Friday, April 17: 3pm
Join the Friends of the Physick Estate for a light afternoon tea and enjoy a hat-making demonstration courtesy of Cape Winds Florist. Join in a lively round of “Who said that?” focusing on famous women, or fill in the blank in sayings related to hats. Hats required! Cutest, biggest, most outrageous, hand-made or store-bought…all will be acknowledged. Held at the Carriage House Café & Tearoom on the grounds of the Emlen Physick Estate, 1048 Washington St. as part of the Girlfriends Getaway Weekend.
