HERE'S A STORY IDEA:
An Old-Fashioned Christmas Exhibit

The Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC) received a donation in 2009 of a Dept. 56 Dickens Village Collection from Ernie & Betsy Heegard, who are wonderful supporters of this not-for-profit organization. The collection is now a part of an annual exhibit “An Old-Fashioned Christmas Exhibit: Holiday Traditions through the Years” that is free and open to the public and has been delighting visitors since 2011. It is open to the public Nov. 18, 2016 through Jan. 1, 2017.

MAC is the acronym for the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities, a multi-faceted not-for-profit organization committed to promoting the preservation, interpretation and cultural enrichment of the Cape May region for its residents and visitors. See our full Mission Statement, above, right.

We have some great ideas for stories. We can connect you with experts to provide lively, interesting and informed quotes on topics such as Cape May history, Victorian architecture, the bed & breakfast industry and tourism and travel, among others.

If you're a member of the press and from out of town, we can help you arrange a visit to Cape May and experience first-hand MAC's trolley tours, walking tours, bike tours, historic sites, events and activities during spring, summer, fall and winter. Give us three months lead time for the best result.

If you're a blogger, or use social media, we have some great ideas for content to share.
