See Cape May Up Close & Personal!
One of the best ways to see Cape May is to park the car and let it rest for awhile. Put on a pair of comfy shoes and explore this Victorian seaside town at your own pace. You'll get to see beautiful yards and gardens, as well as close-ups of the architecture that delights so many visitors. There are also guided tours offered at select times during the year.

Dr. Physick's Neighborhood Walking Tour

Step back in time as you walk along Cape May’s historic Washington Street  that borders  the home of Dr. Emlen Physick, Cape May’s wealthiest year-round citizen.  View homes that span the years from the 1600s though the 21st century and hear about the residents and their professions.  Along the way, see if you can find the answer to one of Cape May’s greatest mysteries – why Dr. Physick built his mansion in this "unfashionable" part of Cape May.
