Dec. 9 Cape May Christmas Candlelight House Tour is proceeding as scheduled

CAPE MAY — The second of three Christmas Candlelight House Tours, presented by the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC), scheduled tonight, Saturday, Dec. 9, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., is proceeding as scheduled.

Ticket holders concerned about challenging weather may:

  • Exchange their ticket(s) for the final Christmas Candlelight House Tour of the season on Dec. 16.

  • Exchange their tickets(s) for any of the 2018 Christmas Candlelight House Tours on Dec. 1, 8 or 15, 2018....

Holiday Preview Weekend in Cape May

CAPE MAY — Christmas arrives early in Victorian Cape May, when the Emlen Physick Estate, 1048 Washington St., is beautifully decorated with thousands of lights for Cape May’s Holiday Preview Weekend, Nov. 17-19, presented by the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC). Start celebrating the holidays early with a weekend of festive tours, activities and food and wine events that are sure to get you into the Christmas spirit.

CAPE MAY — Share a special holiday tradition with friends and family on a festive tour of Cape May’s historic district and surrounding areas during Christmas Candlelight House Tours, presented by the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC). Every year since 1974, a large selection of Victorian inns, homes, churches and hotels open their doors and welcome visitors to share the warmth and hospitality of the season during these popular, self-guided, walking tours.

The three Christmas Candlelight House Tours of the season are Saturdays, Dec. 2, 9 and 16, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. ...

36th Annual Dickens Extravaganza

CAPE MAY — Join world-renowned lecturer on Charles Dickens, Dr. Elliot Engel, and immerse yourself in the storied world of Dickens this holiday season, with lectures and performances at Cape May Stage’s Robert Shackleton Playhouse, Lafayette and Bank Streets, from Sunday, Dec. 3 through Tuesday, Dec. 5. The 36th Annual Dickens Extravaganza is presented by the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC).
